Ion-migration resistance

When metals such as silver (Ag) are ionized, the applied voltage causes them to migrate from the anode to the cathode. This phenomenon occurs more readily in high-humidity environments where current flows easily, and can cause disconnection or shorting in touch panel wiring. Ion-migration resistance is the ability to suppress that ion migration.
